Julie Hudson is a biostatistician at the Biostatistics Research Unit, working primarily with the Department of Anesthesia and Pain Management at Toronto General Hospital. She collaborates with researchers in study design and statistical analysis.
Education and Training
Julie received a bachelor's degree from the University of Toronto (2016) in Applied Statistics with a concentration in health studies, followed by a master's degree from the University of Ottawa in Biostatistics.
Research Interests and Expertise
Julie conducted her master's research in the field of statistical genetics, looking at maternal genetic effect testing and testing the assumptions made in these types of analyses. Her competencies include genome-wide association studies, generalized linear mixed models, and survival analysis.
