Biostatistician


Current Position and Professional Functions

Leah is a biostatistician at the Biostatistics Research Unit at the Toronto General Hospital and collaborates primarily with the Immunodeficiency Clinic to conduct clinical research on HIV. Working with data from randomized controlled trials, clinic databases, Ontario-wide and Canada-wide multi-site cohorts, she conducts statistical analyses and prepares reports, posters, and papers for publication.

 

Education and Training

Leah completed a Bachelor of Science degree with a specialization in psychology at the University of Ottawa in 2008 and a Master of Science degree with a specialization in biostatistics at University of Toronto in 2012.

 

Research Interests and Expertise

Leah has been conducting statistical analyses for HIV research for over 5 years often using longitudinal methods including generalized estimating equations, generalized linear mixed models, and time to event models. She is interested in learning more about statistical methodologies including multiple imputation of missing data and marginal structural models.
