COMPARE is a project led by Ben Goldacre at the Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine at Oxford University. Its aim is to shine a light on the overall quality of outcome reporting in clinical trials by (a) identifying problems in reporting of trials in the five top medical journals (NEJM, The Lancet, BMJ, JAMA, Annals of Internal Medicine) and (b) writing letters to the editors of these journals pointing out the problems.
