Jin is a biostatistician in UHN’s Biostatistics Research Unit, where he is responsible for study design, data analysis, reporting results and statistical consultation.
Jin holds a Master’s degree in biostatistics from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto. He also holds a Master’s degree in forestry (University of New Brunswick) and a PhD degree in molecular biology (Shandong Agricultural University, China).
Jin has experience in statistical genetics, including genome and epigenome wide association studies, survival analysis for molecular biomarkers, evaluation of SNP pairs between donor and recipient in lung transplant, and multiple imputation for missing values in clinical trials.
