Why is it important? (1) Results from around half of all clinical trials remain hidden; (2) Thousands of clinical trials have never been publicly registered; (3) The contributions of hundreds of thousands of patients are unused and unusable; and (4) All clinical trials, past and present, should be registered and results reported.
